Ken Remer
Ken has been shoeing horses for the past thirteen years throughout
Southern Wisconsin and
Northern Illinois. He learned his craft by working as an apprentice under
Don Tritz for the
first 9-1/2 years of his career before starting his own business. Ken
currently works with
many different farms and is comfortable with most breeds and disciplines.
Ken specializes
in modern corrective shoeing techniques.
To keep up-to-date on trends and techniques, Ken attends various clinics,
seminars and
conferences, including Hoofcare Summit and the AFA Conference. He also
works with Don Tritz
weekly, shoeing horses at Keith Merrit & Associates weekly, a local veterinary
clinic.
Working hand-in-hand with veterinarians Ken is considered a valuable resource
in tackling
lameness issues.
